An encounter, though amazing, is not enough in & of itself. Scripture is littered with those who encountered God, but never made the decision to follow Him. This invitation from Jesus to follow Him, is extended to all who desire to “deny themselves”, “take up their cross, daily”, & “follow” Him (Luke 9:23).
It’s a call to know Him, to learn of Him & to become like Him. To follow Him, personally, with the cluster of other believers also have accepted this invitation to follow Him... because nobody follows Jesus alone.
Neighborhoods are House-to-House gatherings that meet through the week, throughout DFW. They are based on the Book of Acts model, where the disciples of the 1st Century met not only in the temple, but House-to-House.
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” (Acts 2:42)

Life Rhythms are personal habits of Christlike living that help form the character of God in us. They are actionable things that we can do, taken from the example & teachings of Jesus, as well as His disciples, that help us walk like, talk like, live like & ultimately become like Jesus.
This after all, is the goal of discipleship.
Disciples are givers. In the Book of Acts, we see radical, generous giving as a central part of the lifestyle of Apostolic disciples. We understand from scripture, that the greatest expression of love is giving, as “God so loved the world that He gave...” (John 3:16).
